femchefI HATE BEING SICK.
Oh my god not only do I hate being sick I hate taking cold medicines. I wish they felt good but they don’t they are horrible I can’t even take a fucking mucinex because it makes my pupils contract and also sometimes I hallucinate and usually just throw it all up. I’m stuck in bed with mild Sudafed and that still makes me feel miserable and dizzy and shaky and twitchy, it’s godawful. Half my face is full of snot, and GOD I hate that feeling! The combination of pressure, slowly shifting fluids I can’t control under the skin behind the place that’s between my nose and my cheekbone but deeper and it starts to shift like an hourglass to the other side of my face if I just lean a little bit too much... And goddddddddd I hate that I can feel stuff running down my throat and there’s like an optimal angle for keeping it from itching and making me gag and cough but it’s gonna end up in my lungs and stomach anyway.
I hate, hate, hate how hot the air coming out of my nose is when it’s clear because there’s still fever and chills of COURSE there is fever and chills, and it’s hot and it makes my face feel like it’s too close to a fireplace and I can’t fall asleep when I notice it so I’m just miserable and tired. And Jesus FUCK I feel like I missed out as a kid because sneezing and blowing my nose are both the most horrible experiences and I hate them both with a passion and god help you if you come at me with a fucking box of tissues because I don’t think I can convey the sheer loathing I possess for those. It’s not even rational, I know that, but it is SO UNCOMFORTABLE AND PAINFUL to do either of those things, and I am a grown ass adult you can’t fucking make me blow my nose now!!!
Jeez I can’t even taste or smell anything except like, the worst things. And like, the worst smells are super highlighted because they’re ALL I can smell or like, nice smells are only broken down into their most basic parts so they smell horrible too - yuzu smells like pine trees right now. I got a whiff yesterday and it was like putting my face in a bucket of Pinefresh cleaner this is a fucking nightmare.
